GENERAL DESCRIPTION: This run begins at the Runner’s Corner and
proceeds east on 800 South in Orem. It turns right and proceeds past the Cineplex Odium Theaters and the University Mall. It then turns left and goes down the University Parkway to Shopko, cuts through the Shopko parking lot to the river at 2230 North in Provo. From there, get on the Provo River Trail and go under the road to the south. Follow the trail until you reach a foot bridge at 900 North, that crosses the river to the right. Proceed west until the road turns at 1250 West and then to 850 North. Turn west on 850 North and go to West. This is the first of 2 climbs on this route. Climb the S shaped road and at the top, continue on north until you reach North in Provo. Turn left or to the west and follow the road until it turns north at West. Go north on Main Street and the second climb will be directly ahead. At the top of this hill you are back in Orem and on Main Street. Continue north past RC Willey, through the traffic light and on to 800 South. Turn right and you will see the traffic light on the corner of 800 South and State Street, after passing Orem Blvd. Continue east and Runner’s Corner will come into view. This is the end of the Grandview Loop course.

- Down 800 South towards the first turn – right on 700 East (one street before the traffic light).
- The view as you turn onto 700 East – theaters are on your left ahead, and University Mall is straight ahead to the right. Make a left at the theaters and then a right; run until you dead end at the bank; go through the service station parking lot to 800 East.
- 800 East: cross this road and go to the light. Turn left and proceed down University Parkway.
- University Parkway: run downhill on the left shoulder to Plumtree Shopping Center, where Shopko is located.
- Plumtree Shopping Center: cut across the parking lot at 45 degrees (towards the mountains) to Taco Time and turn left up 2230 North.
- Immediately upon reaching 2230 North, turn left into the LDS Film Studio driveway. Head towards the Provo River, and get onto the path which parallels the river. Go south. Remain on the Provo River Trail for several miles, passing the Fire Academy.
- When you reach the Silver Bridge, leave the trail and cross the Provo River into Grandview. Follow 900 North.
- 900 North goes past the Geneva Picnic Grounds, with the locomotive on display.
- Turn left from 900 North onto 1250 West. This will be a short block and is distinguished by the number of RVs and campers in driveways and on the street.
- Turn right on 850 North and go to the next street on the right.
- Proceed up the hill.
- At the top of the hill turn left.
- Go to the curve straight ahead, and follow it around.
- You are now on Grand Avenue.
- Turn left onto 1250 West.
- Follow 1250 West around this curve, and it becomes Main Street.
- Continue up the hills on Main Street.
- Continue through the blinking light.
- Cross University Parkway and continue ahead on Main Street.
- Proceed along Main Street.
- At 800 South, turn right.
- Cross Orem Blvd.
- Cross State Street and you are back at Runners Corner.
