LA Freeway | Provo Canyon | Grandview | Provo Pipeline | Squaw Peak | Grizzly | Hope to Hobble | Diamond Fork | Wallsburg | Timpanagos | Grand Canyon


Morning runs are at 5:45 am:
Monday and Wednesday – at the soccer park on 1200 N. and 850 E. Orem

Afternoon Runs are at 5:00 pm:
Tuesday – Mouth of Provo Canyon;
Thursday – Runner’s Corner

Lactic Acid (LA) Freeway:

Start at Memorial Park off of Provo Center Street and run up to the Bonneville Shore line (3 miles) where you will find a fork. You can choose to go toward Springville and back to the fork which is about 5 miles total or you can take a left toward the “Y” which is about 3 miles or go another two and drop down toward “Rock Canyon” and then head down past the Provo Temple and run along 800 East until you get back to Memorial Park. Grandview:

Distance: 8.5 miles

Expected time: 55-60 minutes
When Club Runs: Thursdays
Terrain: Running on residentail streets and some Provo River trail
Advice:

Provo Canyon:
Start at the mouth of Provo Canyon. You can choose to stay on the Provo River Trail road where you can run to a park/rest stop of your choosing or leave the trail and run up various mountain trails such as the Bonneville Shoreline. (More Info…)

Provo Pipeline:
The Pipeline run begins at the mouth of Provo Canyon and heads up the canyon along the Provo River Trail to Canyon Glen. At Canyon Glen, there is a trail up to the Pipeline. Follow the Pipeline towards the mouth of the canyon. Take the road down to the “water fountain” and then rejoin the Provo River Trail.

Another variation of the Pipeline is to run to the “water fountain”, go left on the road beside it, and then up to the Pipeline. At the Pipeline, continue up Provo Canyon until the Pipeline goes under ground above the Canyon Glen picnic area. Just as the Pipeline ends you will see a trail which doubles backs – follow it and it will wind down to the Provo River Trail at Canyon Glen. You can follow this trail back to the mouth of Provo Canyon. (More Info…)

Advice: There are cliffs with long drop offs above Canyon Glen – so stay on the trail!

Squaw Peak:
Coming from the mouth of Provo Canyon, this run can be accessed from the Provo River Trail by turning going up the hill at the overpass and crossing the Provo Canyon road (watch for traffic) and then going up the Squaw Peak road.
