The Sojourners Running Club (SRC) is a friendly, family oriented running club dedicated
to promoting running and trail running in the Utah County area. We believe that above all,
running should be fun. The club welcomes all abilities of runners, social and serious.

Labor Day Weekend: Hope to Hobble (20-24 miles) Meet at the mouth of Provo Canyon at 5:30 am to car pool up to Hope Campground, we plan to start by 6:00 am to run over on the dirt road to Hobble Creek Canyon, then about 3 more miles to finish at the golf course. The club will provide a few water stops along the way, and refreshments will be provided at the golf course. The run begins with about a 3-4 mile moderate climb, followed by a 2-3 mile drop to Rock Canyon Campground, then a 4-5 mile moderate climb to the summit view, a couple miles of flat, and 3/4 mile climb to the final summit. Then ends with 7-8 miles downhill to Hobble Creek left fork road, and right 3 miles to the golf course. Some may choose to stop at the road for 21. (We will need some vehicles dropped off at the golf course the night before for transportation back, or some willing spouses or friends to meet us at the golf course. Bryce has volunteered to drop water but could probably use some company.) If you can help, please contact Cheryl at 225-4901

The club runs a few times a week and the runs are attended by runners of all ages and abilities. If you like
competition, you'll find it at the club runs. On the other hand, if you're a middle of the pack or
beginning runner, you'll find plenty of company at our club runs. Despite the high amounts of runners proudly wearing the eagle in the top finish places at many races, the majority of people that show up to group runs are amazing people that are not necessarily amazingly fast. We are keen to recruit new
members of ALL levels and abilities, whether you are just starting on a fitness program or you
want to run a marathon and beyond.

Thank your for your interest in the Sojourners Running Club. We are open to all those who wish to join. To join the club, visit or call the store: 801-223-7010. To drop us a line, click here.
